We offer day care for an additional $15 for 1st child, $25 for 2 children and $30 for 3 or more children.  Day care is included in all of our family memberships. We also offer a drop in day care for a $5 fee. 

We offer day care for children ages 1-7

Monday-Saturday 8:30am-11am

Monday-Thursday 4:30pm-7:30pm

*  A staff member must be present when a child is in the play area.

* Each child must be signed in and out reflecting times…by a parent.

* Limit of children will be set by staff for safety of the children 

* The play area is a privilege for club members…Do Not abuse time allowance!

* A parent MUST be using the gym facilities while child is in play area.

* A 2 hr, limit per session

* Children of friends, relatives or other club members, whose parents are not in SHF, are not permitted in the play area.

* NO food, candy or chewing gum is allowed in the play area.  Cups with lids are permitted.

*  NO toys from home are allowed…they cause problems with not sharing.

*  We DO NOT tolerate abusive or aggressive behavior.  We will use a time out.  After 3 times, the parent will be asked to remove the child from the play area.  If disturbances continue, members will be asked to give up play area privileges for two (2) weeks.

* Purchase of a daily play area pass available for $5.00

PERSONAL HYGIENE

             Our staff will not change diapers or soiled clothes.  If a child needs a diaper or clothing change, the parent will be notified and may use the locker room.  If your child is potty training, we ask that you put them in a pull-up and check on them every half hour, during  their stay in the play area.  If a child is unable to use the toilet alone, the parent will be called in to help them.

ILLNESS

            Children with fever will not be permitted in the play area.  If these symptoms develop during the child’s stay in play area, the parent will be paged to exit the child from the play area.  If the child has a rash which is suspect, the parent may be asked to provide a note from a physician stating that the child is not contagious before being allowed to enter or re-enter the play area.
